Our flavor-packed collab with Ambo Ethiopian Cuisine is BACK!!

Similar to how Mulu from Ambo describes Ethiopian meals, this collab is about more than just delicious food - it’s a celebration of connection and friendship. We met Mulu way back in the early 2000s when her family moved into Bellingham Cohousing. Part of that experience is sharing meals, and did we ever share meals!

That deliciousness eventually led to Mulu operating a very successful stand at the Bellingham Farmers Market. She’d come in late and cook in our Fiamma kitchen, so we always woke up to the amazing aromas.

For the last several years Ambo has been up and running on State Street and you can enjoy some injera and doro wat any day of the week. But this month those flavors are being featured in our kitchen too!

Ambo Coffee Milkshake - A delightful blend of cardamom, cinnamon, clove, coffee and chocolate. Finished with whipped cream and a dusting of spiced cocoa.
