Fiamma Burger slings mighty tasty smash burgers made only from the good stuff. The Fiamma Smash starts with all-natural beef, raised on the Klingeman Family Farm in Ephrata, WA, smashed down with the sweetest shaved onions around. Double patties are topped with sharp American cheese (Yes, American cheese, it’s the best burger cheese and we’ll be taking no further questions on the matter) and stacked up on a buttery bun with pickles and Fiamma sauce. 

Of course, what’s a burger without some accoutrement?! We offer a smattering of fried sides and house made dippin’ sauces, along with milkshakes, slushies and other house-made bevs. For the beef-free folks, we’ve got a whole menu of fried chicken sandwiches and plant-based burgers so everyone can indulge in our mission to serve high quality, delicious burgers to our community. 

Our history

Fiamma Burger started at the Bellingham Farmers’ Market as a mobile unit during the summer of 2005. Plans for a brick and mortar were underway; the mobile was a great way to keep the concept’s momentum going. 

We modeled our flagship “Fiamma Burger” as a west coast spin on the east coast smash-style favorite. The patty is smashed and cooked to order, but keeps the thickness and texture that the west had come to expect. We earned a spot in the hearts of Bellinghamsters with our unique specialty burgers, extra creamy milkshakes and house-made sauces. 

Fast forward to 2024 and we made a shift. Still smashing… just thinner and with more delicious, crispy, lacey edges. Double beef patties are smashed with shaved onion and seared hot + crispy then served on a fresh buttery bun with two slices of melty cheese. 

Throughout all the change, we continue to be guided by our mission to consistently serve our guests excellent food in a hospitable, clean, welcoming environment.
